Submit a Medal

Here you can submit a picture of your own marathon medal to share with everyone else. Please provide as much information as you can about your marathon medal. You may provide information about yourself. Please see our simple Privacy Statement here. If you want your name, comments, and finish time to display, please note that too.
  • In the Submit Picture section, browse for and submit your file containing your picture of your marathon medal
  • In the Race Information section, complete optional information about the race of your marathon medal
  • In the Runner Information section, complete optional information about yourself and the race of your marathon medal
  • In the Other Information section, provide any additional information you want
  • In the Permission section, review the conditions, select “I Agree”, and click “Submit”.
Submit Picture:
To upload a picture, please do the following:
  • Click Browse to open a box for you to search for your picture file.
  • Search for the picture file on your computer, thumb drive or other storage device.
  • Select the picture file to be submitted.
  • Click Open to save the file path.
(Files are submitted after agreeing to the terms at the bottom of this page and clicking Submit.)
Pictures are limited to:
  • File types - JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and PNG
  • Maximum of 10MB in size
  • Pictures of marathon medals only (see FAQs)

Race Information:
Year: Four-digit year of the race for this finisher's medal, e.g. 2010
Name: Name of race (e.g. Chicago Marathon)
Sponsor: Sponsor of race (e.g. Bank of America)
City: City of race (e.g. Chicago)
State: State, province, territory, region, etc. of race (e.g. Illinois)
Country: Country of race (e.g. USA)
Race URL: Race Web address (e.g. www.chicagomarathon.com)
Runner Information:
First Name: Your First Name
By clicking the check box to display First Name, you can search for all the marathon medals you have uploaded on the Search page under Contributor Name. By leaving this box blank, you cannot search for your medals by your name.
Last Name: Your Last Name
By clicking the check box to display Last Name, you can search for all the marathon medals you have uploaded on the Search page under Contributor Name. By leaving this box blank, you cannot search for your medals by your name.
Email: Your email address - NOT DISPLAYED
  Your e-mail address is used to identify you should you want to edit/update your Comments, Finish Time, or be notified when your picture is displayed. We do not lease or sell your information to anyone.
Your URL: Your Website
By clicking the check box to display Your URL, visitors can click a link to your Web site to learn more about you and your racing history. Any links reported as offensive by another visitor will be immediately removed. First Name, Last Name, and valid E-mail address are required to use this feature.
Comments: Comments about this race and/or medal
By clicking the check box to display Comments, your comments can be read by visitors. Any comments reported as offensive by another visitor will be immediately removed. First Name, Last Name, and valid E-mail address are required to use this feature.
Finish Time: Your finish time in #:##:## format, e.g. 4:19:58
By clicking the check box to display Finish Time, your finish time can be viewed by visitors. First Name, Last Name, and and valid E-mail address are required to use this feature. Your First Name and Last Name will be displayed with your finish time (and comments if you provided any).
Other Information:
Notes: Include any note, suggestions, or comments to the administrator that you want here. These are not displayed.
